Previously known as the 15 year strong SDC Awards, this new award also recognises the innovation, expertise and success of the IT industry across a range of key disciplines.

First up, we focus on the practical ways in which IT is making a difference in the 'real world', helping end users to address operational challenges and grasp digital opportunities. Our Projects categories highlight success in automation, storage, cybersecurity, cloud, networking, digital transformation, as well as the significant contribution that the channel makes when it comes to providing solutions to their customers.

Data protection and resilience is our second focus area, where we recognise innovations made within the storage and cybersecurity sectors. There are awards for backup and archive technology, business continuity and disaster recovery, cyber resilience, cloud storage and security, with both hardware and software solutions featuring.

Our third awards area covers digitalisation - some of the newer IT categories which are bringing artificial intelligence and machine learning, data management and analytics, IT operations and management and IT orchestration and automation into the workplace.

Next up, we salute the role that the channel plays in the IT industry. There are awards for the channel when it comes to storage, security, ESG, excellence in service, digitalisation, as well as recognition for vendor channel programmes.

Last, but by no means least, we feature the companies who are making a difference 24 x 7 x 365 when it comes to their chosen area(s) of expertise - storage, security, digitalisation, the channel and ESG/CSR.

Now in their 15^th year, the SDC Awards continues to reflect the brilliance of the IT industry as it evolves to meet the demands of today's rapidly evolving digital landscape.
